My approach to character development on COH2
Here is a breakdown for how I approached character development on COH2. I do not have images of the whole process, but the following images should provide a clear indication of my process.
I started this process with the goal to improve the visual quality of the characters in COH2, while remaining true to the franchise
I did a breakdown of what I wanted to change to improve the quality of our assets and determined a couple of changes.

I did a breakdown of what I wanted to change to improve the quality of our assets and determined a couple of changes.
- Increased the polycount in areas that improve the silhouette or accent key attributes.
- Improve the use of colour and make the textures more vibrant.
After the initial prototype, I had my concept artist develop concepts for the units and worked with him to develop unique characteristic, that would be distinguishable from each other with in the game from the default camera angle.
